Biodanza: The Dance of Life as Spiritual Practice – January 31, Rev. Vicky Combs. Since May 2009 Vicky has been practicing a form of conscious dance called Biodanza, subtitled "the poetry of human encounter." Biodanza ("dance of life" in Spanish) is a system of personal growth that uses music, movement, and group interaction to deepen one's connection to self and others. Rev. Vicky Combs is a priestess of the Earth and UU minister who currently works as a hospice chaplain in Santa Rosa and Santa Clara. In addition to working with a local group to promote the home funeral/green burial movement, Vicky has a private practice in body-centered spiritual direction. In September 2009 she began the three year training program to become a Biodanza facilitator.
