UUFLG Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

Sunday Services

Services will be live video/phone-in only until further notice; congregants will not attend services at the Fellowship. Children and Youth Religious Exploration classes will resume once services are held at the Fellowship again.

Please share this change of format with anyone who may not be online to learn about it. May we all stay safe and feel held by each other’s love in this moment.

“Cults, Conspiracies, and Cognitive Dissonance”
What these three ‘c’ words share in common is another ‘c’ word – certainty. In each of these examples – cults, conspiracy theories, and cognitive dissonance – our minds can become entrenched in certain positions and lose flexibility. How do our minds get mired in fixed ways of thinking? And more importantly, how do we reverse this trend and return to the innate flexibility, creativity, and exploration that is our birthright? Spiritual Café: Coronavirus Coping and Challenges
During shelter-in-place, we have collectively been called to a crossroads in our own spiritual journeys. Who are we when we are forced to slow down? While physically separated from family and friends, what has come to the surface as most important? What skills and abilities have proven helpful to you in getting through this period? What has been the most challenging? Join us as we engage in thoughtful dialogue on these and other pertinent questions of this time.

What’s Happening announces the next few weeks of activities and events by our Fellowship. View it from the Welcome menu. To receive it in your email inbox, signup.

Stronger Together

To make our world better, each of us must celebrate and share our unique gifts to nurture our planet. As curious, spiritually independent people, our Fellowship strives to provide an open and supportive environment to explore the creativity, strength, and wisdom within the diverse experiences and aspirations of each of us. We find joy and meaning in such a community. And by working together, we strengthen our connections.

|We are a Welcoming Congregation, intentionally and openly taking steps to welcome into our community people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
