Repair and Accountability in Community
What if we were taught, through word and deed, from an early age that we are safe and lovable, even when we make mistakes? What if we felt safe and lovable, deeply in our bones? What if adults had the healthy ego strength to see and tell the truth when we do something that intentionally or unintentionally generates hurt or harm or discord, rather than love and trust and intimacy? What if we could admit those missteps to ourselves, with more tenderness than shame, and then express our regret and desire for emotional repair in our intimate and community relationships? Can a more beautiful and loving world emerge from our own sense of accountability? Join in this first installment of a two-part series that our minister Shams is bringing for our consideration, with potential positive repercussions for our relationship here at UUFLG and beyond.

The New Printing Press: Living Through the AI Revolution
Artificial Intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept–it’s a present-day reality, creating both powerful opportunities and complex challenges. Join us for a straightforward look at how these new tools are changing our world. We’ll explore AI’s promise in areas like personal learning, creative expression, and community safety. We will also examine the difficult questions it raises about the future of work, the spread of misinformation, and the critical need for human wisdom and oversight, and end with a Q&A. –Dan Gruhl, AI research and development professional & UUFLG member

Stronger Together
To make our world better, each of us must celebrate and share our unique gifts to nurture our planet. As curious, spiritually independent people, our Fellowship strives to provide an open and supportive environment to explore the creativity, strength, and wisdom within the diverse experiences and aspirations of each of us. We find joy and meaning in such a community. And by working together, we strengthen our connections.
|We are a Welcoming Congregation, intentionally and openly taking steps to welcome into our community people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
